Developed a secondary outpatient clinic to better meet the needs of the community being serviced. This second clinic also provides care and treatment to clients with co-occurring disorders. This clinic operates as a satellite clinic.

The proud daughter of a survivor, she is finely attuned to the nuanced care required to help this unique population. Her dedication and compassion has driven the continuous growth of a program that tends to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of Holocaust survivors.
Major Sharon Lindsey
A registered, certified, and licensed dietitian in New York and Texas and a licensed School Teacher, Administrator and District Supervisor in NYC and an adjunct professor at LaGuardia community college for the past 32 years
MS. Sweeting Lindsey enlisted in the United States Army reserve as Food Service Specialist and retired 26 years later with the rank of Major. To further her professional career, she became the Deputy Executive Director for Nutritional Services at the NYC Department of Correction, where she oversaw the feeding of 20,000 men and women and 10,000 officers and civilians.
In 1983, Ms. Sweeting Lindsey founded Taurus Associates Inc., a food service consultant organization and in 2006, founded a food pantry and became a member of the NYC Food Bank. In 2008, she initiated the J-caps Vets under the Honorable Councilman Thomas White Jr. and in 2010 founded Vets Inc. and Honor House, a 10-bed residential facility for Veterans, a pantry and soup kitchen.
